	Elias Baine It seems like every day's the same and I'm left to discover on my own
	Age: 43 Species: Human (magic-user) Alignment: Neutral-Good - generally speaking, Elias is a good guy. He seldom uses preferred methods, and he's not really a fan of rules (or authority figures, come to think of it, although he will abide by both if he needs to), but in general terms he's firmly on the side of good, if only because he hates the opposite side so violently. Ability/Specialization: Shifter - he has a medallion he wears around his neck that allows him to take the shape of a wolverine (mostly) at will. He needs concentration to actually use it, and it tends to work most effectively when he's pissed, but he has the potential to use it most of the time. When cast, most higher brain function is limited. Speech is impossible, and most behavior operates on instinct, although whatever purpose and intentions he had when he cast it will still be present, and he can understand human speech relatively well and respond in his own way. It lasts for 6 hours after casting, although he can change back voluntarily any time during that point. Serious injuries automatically dissipate the effects, and any injuries incurred while transformed pass over to his usual state when the effects fade. The one drawback to this is that the more he uses it the smaller the difference between man and beast gets. With each use it gets harder for him to voluntarily transform back, although it will always revert at the 6 hour point. Over time he will also begin to gain wolverine-like traits even in his usual shape, namely a really, really nasty attitude (mostly limited to when he's pissed off at this point) Occupation: Hunter Resident Location: Works out of L.A. technically, for a group called only the Syndicate, but he's most often out on the road (he doesn't exactly get along with his handlers)
	Personality It seems like everything is grey and there's no color to behold
	Full overview will be filled in eventually BUT highlights: - stubborn little fucker - acts first, thinks second - bit of a vengeance schtick going on - bites off more than he can chew...often - loyal to a fault - GIGANTIC problem with authority (seriously hates orders)
	History They say it's over and I'm fine again. Why try to stay sober; feels like I'm dying again
	Overview: Normal, boring life up until his family was slaughtered by demons; at that point, after freaking out about how impossible it was for a good month or so, he started working on hunting them down, one by one. He tracked down a Goblin Market (no, it's actually run by witches, not goblins) and got himself an Amulet as a kind of insurance (they said it would help, he didn't question), and for the next few years he lodged a one man war against the Forces of Darkness. Until the Syndicate found him, anyway; he'd been causing a bit of a problem for them because of his utter lack of rules and the messes he tended to leave behind, so they gave him an ultimatum. Join them or be ended by them. So he picked the one that would help him reach his goal. They trained him up and let him loose, and that was that. He checks in every month or so, but that's about it.
